Anytime a horse gets a chemical blister or even sunburn, I like to use Aloe Vera or something soothing like a furaseptin. I try to avoid any creams with an oil base like triple antibiotic simply because they are not water soluble and difficult to wash off. If your horse is real sensitive and having trouble with the average poultice on the market, then I would suggest Cool Cast. Cool Cast is a gauze bandage that is impregnated with a poultice. It has a natural ph and will not blister.
